Back again (B12)

After what seems like forever, here I am writing in this blog again. It's sad to say that University work got the very better of and has been consuming my time no end. (As you would expect studying for a degree)
Never the less, I am back and with so much exciting work to show! A lot has changed since being here and I have a new found passion for different area's of photography which is all so exiting, but instead of explain all now I will show it through the past projects I have done and ones to come.

B12
Throughout second year I continuously worked on a project called B12. Since becoming a vegan I have been a lot more aware of Animal Welfare so much that it has become a passion of mine and what better way to incorporate a Passion into your photography work.
Below is a set of still lives in the style of Vanitas paintings, the pictures are a juxtaposition of natural organic food against another kind of food that once was alive. The difference between meat-eater and vegan. Originally the fruit and vegetables where to represent the nutritional value of the meat, to visually see that this is possible and this is represented in some images, however I was not pleased of how cluttered it made the images look.

This project is rather sentimental to me, and I hope this comes through in the images. If you take anything away from these pictures, I hope it questions you think about where the food you're eating comes from and is it morally right?
