Oceanography

For the past 10 weeks we have been working on a book project which was entirely self initiated.
Since moving to Plymouth I thought it would be a good idea to explore the place a lot more by travelling to different beaches along the south west. I have always wanted to live by the sea, and one day I hope to travel the world properly so this was a great experience for me. The pictures are made by a D.I.Y pinhole camera I brought in London at the national portrait gallery, it takes 35mm film and is very easy to use.
Below are a few pictures from the book I made called "Oceanography".
Enjoy!

Wembury

On Saturday I took a visit to Wembury beach to shoot some pictures on my pinhole camera. While there I took some on my digital. Wembury is absolutely stunning, I didn't want to leave!

Plymouth University

So I got into Plymouth University! I'm aware this is months and months late but I haven't had a fully working laptop in a while, but since starting university its been great! I've not learnt a lot as of yet, but the lectures are really interesting and some of the projects are pretty cool. Currently we're working on making a book, in which I am photographing seascapes with a Pinhole camera.
I'm going to be putting up some of my university projects so far along with pictures from Amsterdam and Paris.

Harringworth viaduct

The day I came back from Spain my father and I went down to  a small village called Harringworth, its known for a railway viaduct that crossed the valley of the river soar Welland between Harringworth and Rutland. We went for a fate and car boot sale, but on the way stopping to get a few pictures of the viaduct, it has 82 arches making it the longest masonry viaduct across a valley in Britain.
Below are two pictures, in which I was really playing around with getting a good angle  to photograph the viaduct.

Lloret de mar

Last month in June I went to Lloret de mar in Spain. This was purely for a holiday and to get away for a while, however during the week I was away I did take three cameras and managed to get a few shots out and about. One evening attended a Medieval night at a huge castle in which actors put on a display of jousting, we also had a whole chicken each and had to eat it with our hands, although I had vegetable pie. Afterwards we were all taken into a big room where bands performed as well as some traditional Spanish dancers, it was really amazing. The photo's below are from my digital camera.

"Call me Stella"

For the past two months we have been working towards our final major project at college. For my project I deiced to document my mother and her relationship with alcohol. Inspired by Deidre O'Callaghan I was to document things about the place as well as my mothers day-to-day life. This wasn't an easy project for me, and I found it quite hard however, these are the results.
